Hardscaping & Stone Work in Danbury and Fairfield County, CT

Stone work in Connecticut is a fight with frost. What separates a patio that stays flat from one that heaves after two winters is underground: excavation depth, compacted gravel base, drainage and edge restraint. We build that part right, then make the visible part look like it belongs to the house.

Why it matters

  • Built for frost

Excavated and based for freeze-thaw cycles, with drainage planned before the first stone goes down.

  • Natural and paver stone

Bluestone, fieldstone, flagstone, granite and pavers, chosen to suit your home.

  • Real work to show

Every photo in our project gallery is our own work, including jobs still in progress.

Questions homeowners ask

Pavers or natural stone?

Pavers give you consistent color, many patterns and easy repair. Natural stone like bluestone and fieldstone has more character and suits older New England homes. We bring samples so you can see both.

How long does a patio take?

Most residential patios take from a few days to two weeks depending on size, access, grade changes and weather. You get a timeline with your estimate.

Do you handle permits?

We check whether your project needs a permit, for example taller retaining walls, and help with what the town requires before we start.
