Hardscaping & Stone Work

Stone Steps & Stairways in Danbury, CT and Nearby Towns

Steps get used every day in every season, so they have to feel solid and stay level. We build entry steps, garden stairways on slopes and patio steps with bluestone or granite treads, consistent riser heights and a base that does not rock after the first frost.

Questions homeowners ask

Can you replace crumbling concrete front steps?

Yes. We remove the old steps and rebuild in stone or block with bluestone treads, sized to your door and walkway.

Are stone steps slippery in winter?

Thermal-finished bluestone and granite give good grip. In winter we recommend de-icers that are safe for natural stone, and we can include steps in your snow service.
